Sheridan: In May of 2025, Odessit Capital made its first significant venture into Cambridge with the purchase of a 1-acre parcel of land near Danehy Park. The parcel was largely vacant, with only a portion serving as a parking lot. The development team immediately got to work devising a strategy to maximize the highest and best use for the property. Within months, a team had been assembled to subdivide, entitle, and permit the property for residential development. As of January 2026, the team has had several meetings with the abutters and the Cambridge Community Development
Department regarding a 32-unit luxury condo proposal for the first phase of the master development parcel. We are very excited to both expand Odessit’s geographic footprint as well as provide much-needed housing to one of the nation’s most supply-constrained markets.
