In August of 2022, Odessit Capital closed on a small, run-down two-family on an oddly shaped parcel of land, with the intention of demolishing the existing structure and replacing it with another, larger two-family structure. This proposal remained completely within the existing zoning bylaws of Brookline, which allowed for construction to start and progress to be made much sooner. Aiding our ability to get started was Brookline’s determination of historical non-significance, which allowed us to pull a building permit and get to work almost immediately in November 2022. While this project did face some delays due to COVID-related supply chain issues, construction was completed by the Fall of 2024.
