In August of 2021, Odessit Capital purchased the iconic Bertram Inn, a 16-room lodging house located in the heart of the Coolidge Corner neighborhood of Brookline. One month later, Odessit closed on the single-family residence (SFR) next door. From 2021-2023, while our team went about re-entitling the parcels, Odessit also operated and managed the lodging house on both short- and long-term leases, as well as leasing and managing the SFR next door. While the project underwent several iterations throughout the entitlement process, approval was finally received from the Zoning Board to demolish the SFR and construct 13 condominium units across both properties, while preserving and renovating the historic Bertram Inn facade. As of early 2024, construction is underway on-site with a projected completion date of late Fall 2025.
